Advanced PowerPoint (6 hours)

 
Course Length:  3 Classes, 2 hours each
Prerequisites:  Familiar with Windows operation system, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.  Working knowledge of PowerPoint.
 
Overview
This course is designed for the experienced PowerPoint user who wants to learn advanced PowerPoint features as well as how to integrate PowerPoint with other Microsoft applications.
 
Course Outline and Objectives
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
  • Create a screen-show presentation using slide transitions and custom animation
  • Create a custom template by changing the slide background and color scheme of an existing PowerPoint template
  • Open and modify a Microsoft Word outline and convert it to a PowerPoint presentation
  • Create pie and column charts by using Microsoft Graph
  • Use PowerPoint drawing tools to create a flow chart
  • Post a PowerPoint presentation to the Web
