This class is intended for persons who want to
learn how to use a mouse and keyboard. Lessons include
explanation, drill and practice to learn the basic techniques for, and
to develop some level of proficiency in , using these input devices. |

| Course Outline and
Objectives |
By the end of the course,
participants will be able to:
- Identify basic computer hardware components,
such as the system unit, mouse, monitor, and keyboard.
- Accomplish the four basic mouse actions:
Point, click, double-click, and drag.
- Select appropriate mouse settings for
individual use.
- Identify the keys on a standard keyboard,
including home row keys, second finger keys, numbers, special
characters, and function keys.
- Use the appropriate finger placement for all
keys on the keyboard.
