| Internet E-mail covers the information
and steps necessary for obtaining and using an E-mail account on the
Internet. This course is designed for anyone interested in
learning how to open and use the various features of an Internet E-mail
account. It is recommended that students are familiar with Windows
95 or 98 and have access to the Internet. |

| Course Outline and Objectives |
This class is delivered in a
lecture/demonstration format with hands-on activities that allow users
to understand and use Internet E-mail. By the end of the course,
participants will be able to:
- Understand basic Internet and E-mail
terminology
- Open an Internet E-mail account
- Compose a message
- Send a message
- Add an attachment to a message
- Copy and paste information from another source
into message
- Open and maintain incoming messages
- Download and use an Instant Messenger
- Create and maintain addresses
- Create and maintain folders
- Customize messages and account information
- Understand E-mail safety
