Course Length:  6 Classes, 2 hours each
Prerequisites:  Windows OS
 
Overview
Adobe® Photoshop® Elements is an easy-to-use, yet powerful image-editing, photo-retouching, and Web-graphics solution. Photoshop Elements offers robust features designed specifically for amateur photographers, hobbyists, and business users who want to create professional-quality images for print and the Web.
 
Course Outline and Objectives
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
  • Use Photoshop Elements Tools
  • Open and view digital images
  • Resize and resample digital images
  • Work with palettes and context menus
  • Straighten and crop and image
  • Use multiple selection tools
  • Use the selection brush and mask mode
  • Create and arrange layers
  • Edit text
  • Repair an area with the clone stamp
  • Retouch on a separate layer
  • Use the Paint tools
  • Adjust tonal range
  • Remove a color cast
  • Replace colors in an image
  • Adjust lightness with the dodge tool
  • Adjust saturation with the sponge tool
