PowerPoint Charts (2 hours)

 
Course Length:  1 Class, 2 hours
Prerequisites:  Familiar with Windows operating system, word processing, and the Internet
 
Overview
PowerPoint includes a special program called Microsoft Graph that offers 14 standard and 20 custom chart types to help you convey numerical messages that are visually appealing and easily understood.  In this class, you will learn how to use Graph to add charts to slides, how to enter and edit the data that supports your charts, and how to incorporate data and charts from sources outside PowerPoint in your chart slides.
 
Course Outline and Objectives
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
  • Create a chart slide
  • Add a chart to an existing slide
  • Select a chart type
  • Enter data into a chart
  • Label chart data
  • Format labels and numbers
  • Format chart background and other elements
  • Import Excel data into a graph
